Public Access Project Internships
The Public Access team at 1 Pump Court invites applications for internships in the Direct Access project, starting immediately.
The Direct Access project started in relation to the phenomenally successful Prison Law initiative and is now being extended to other areas of law within Chambers specialisations including Housing, Immigration and Mental Health.
Interns will have an opportunity to work within the Public Access team in Chambers and to see work in a wide variety of areas of law including Prison Law, Crime, Family, Housing, Public Law and Immigration, and the opportunity to attend court with barristers in Chambers. They will also have free access to all of Chambers seminars and an opportunity to discuss their work with members of Chambers.
Internships will last for between 3 and 6 months, with interns working 2 days per week in Chambers. Successful candidates will be expected to have completed a law degree or equivalent.
For further information and an application form please contact Deborah Gardner-Wood at dgw@1pumpcourt.co.uk
We will make reasonable adjustments for disabled candidates. Our recruitment process complies with the Bar Equality and Diversity Code.
