Profile

Jonathan is a practising member of the 1 Pump Court Family Group, specialising in both Public Law cases and Private Law cases, having acted for Local Authorities, parents and children. He enjoys representing vulnerable clients and non-British nationals

He is a Bar Council accredited immigration practitioner and member of ILPA. He is experienced in appeals before the Immigration and Asylum Chamber and regularly appears with notable success in Judicial Review Hearings at the High Court.

His particular areas of practice are refugee law, unlawful detention, human rights, deportation/removal and entry clearance.

He is a specialist in Home Office policy and ‘Abdi-type’ actions against the Secretary of State.

Jonathan is Direct Access qualified.
