Lindsay Adams
Practice
Lindsay began her career as a criminal defence lawyer but gradually began to build up a family practice. She gave up her criminal practice four years ago to concentrate solely on her growing care work.
Lindsay specialises in representing parents in public law proceedings and has a particular empathy with parents who have learning difficulties and mental health problems.
The criminal defence background has been invaluable in conducting cases which involve fact-finding hearings, particularly those with allegations of non-accidental injuries.
Lindsay regularly gives training seminars in child and family law to various organisations.
She is trained in direct access.
She is the Head of the Family Group.
