Charlie’s aims as a lawyer are to draw upon his life and professional experience to provide an ever improving service to those who find themselves involved in litigation in family jurisdiction, and to pursue 1 Pump Court’s aim of ensuring that quality legal representation continues to be provided to the most disadvantaged members of our society.

Before coming to the Bar he worked as an outdoor clerk for a number of legal aid solicitors and also worked for the Refugee Legal Centre, representing asylum seekers at all stages of the asylum process including presenting appeals.

Since coming to 1 Pump Court, where he was a pupil, he has practiced in both the family and criminal courts. He now has a specialist family practice and has gained a great deal of experience in all areas of family law including care proceedings, ancillary relief and TOLATA.
