Michele practises in all areas of family law. She was appointed a Deputy District Judge of the Principal Registry of the Family Division in November 2003 and made a Master of the Bench of Lincoln’s Inn in November 2007.
Michele is a pupil supervisor and a grade A advocacy trainer for Lincoln’s Inn where she trains pupils and newly qualified practitioners in advocacy skills. She also teaches members of the bar and judiciary the accepted Hampel method of advocacy training. Her advocacy training has also been conducted in Guernsey, Kuala Lumpur and Ghana. Michele gives seminars for Chambers and undertakes court skills training for professional organisations.
Michele has recently been working with the ATC on guidelines for uniform training of young practitioners at the bar. This is still a work in progress.
Michele held the position of Chambers’ Secretary from 2004 to 2007 together with Alistair Polson
