Patricia Tueje

Practice

Patricia specialises in all aspects of housing law including homelessness, security of tenure, disrepair, unlawful eviction, anti-social behaviour and allocations. Her practice also encompasses the full spectrum of community care law including eligibility for care services  and asylum seeker support. She has experience of representing clients at the Court of Appeal, High Court, county courts the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal and the Lands Tribunal. Patricia has also obtained emergency out of hours injunctions in a number of both housing and community care cases.

Before becoming a barrister, Patricia worked in the voluntary housing sector for a number of years, including at Shelter, where she also provided training on unlawful eviction and harassment.

Patricia has provided training as part of the housing team’s annual seminar programme, in-house to solicitors’ firms, and for HLPA’s annual conference.

She is trained in direct access.
