Emma King
Prior to commencing pupillage at 1 Pump Court, Emma had five years experience as an accredited asylum and immigration caseworker. For the last three years she worked as a freelance advocate for several firms of solicitors and law centres in London. She has considerable experience representing clients before both the First-Tier and Upper Tribunals in all types of asylum and immigration appeals, including under the Refugee Convention, humanitarian protection, deportation, article 8, domestic violence, family reunion, spouse/child/dependent relative entry clearance, points-based system, EEA cases and bail.
Emma is happy to receive instructions for Tribunal appeals and for Judicial Review.
She is a member of FRU and committed to pro bono representation.
